Our bathroom resealing service in EN2
With over 20 years in the trade, we reseal baths, showers and kitchens in homes across EN2. We are fully insured ARBOMaster approved applicators, and every job carries our one-year guarantee. We work on sinks & splashbacks, wet rooms and basins & vanity units, and the jobs we see most are water escaping at the shower enclosure and damp behind the bath or under the tray.
A visit follows a simple pattern: we look at the joints together, protect the area around them, carry out the job and tidy away. It usually takes half a day or less for one room, longer when the kitchen is included.
- Protection goes down around the bath, shower or worktop.
- We cut away the old sealant and clean off what’s left.
- We treat any mould and let the joint dry properly.
- Any bath is filled with water, then we lay a bead of anti-fungal silicone in white, clear or a matching colour.
- The joint is finished neatly and we explain when it can get wet.

Near you in Enfield Chase
We work in homes and buildings around Chase Side Primary School, The Old Wheatsheaf pub and Grange Park Preparatory School, among other places. Also close by are Enfield Town Park (0.7 miles south-east), Enfield County School for Girls (0.6 miles east) and Church of St Mary Magdalene (less than half a mile south). There’s a railway station in Enfield Chase itself: Enfield Chase station. A little further out are Edmonton Green Shopping Centre (2.8 miles south-east) and Museum of Enfield (0.8 miles south-east). Not far away are Pole Hill and Oakleigh Park Rail Cutting.
Where we work in EN2
From Enfield, Enfield Chase and Bush Hill Park to its smaller places, homes across EN2 have bathrooms and kitchens of every age. Sealant and grout wear out in all of them, whether it’s a family bathroom, a rented flat or a hotel en suite.
London and the South East have homes from every era, from period terraces to post-war new towns and new estates. Each needs the right sealant for its age and materials, wherever it is in EN2.
Enfield Chase: Homes close to Church of St Mary Magdalene include some older properties, and older homes can move a little, which is hard on rigid grout and tired sealant. Letting a property close to Enfield Chase station? Then mouldy sealant is one of the first things a new tenant notices, so it’s worth renewing between lets.
For landlords and businesses
We also work for property managers and facilities teams. Several sites can be quoted together, and we’re fully insured.
We also work for businesses, from offices to washrooms and kitchens. On commercial sites, working times can be discussed when we quote.
Looking after it afterwards
How long the joints last depends on use and care. Here’s what we suggest:
- Look for lifting corners and small gaps now and then
- Wipe the sealant dry after showering
- Wipe up water along the back of the worktop
- Keep scourers and sharp tools away from the bead
Give the silicone time to cure before it gets wet, following the cure time we give you. Once it’s cured, wiping it down after use keeps it looking new.
Worktop joints fail quietly. Water gets behind the upstand and into the edge of a laminate worktop, where it can make the board swell. Resealing before that happens protects the worktop.
Leave it or put it right?
Tired sealant is not a reason to replace a bath or shower. Replacing the joint is usually all it takes, as long as the fittings themselves are sound. If we find a deeper problem, you will hear it from us.

What sealant work can’t fix
To be straight with you, there are a few things sealant will not fix:
- Water getting in through the grout rather than the sealant
- Damage behind the tiles that needs a tiler
- Movement from a bath with loose feet or no proper support
DIY versus a professional finish
A DIY attempt does not rule out a professional job. We remove it and do the joint properly, so just mention it when you contact us.
Some jobs are best left to a professional: work at height, external movement joints, fire-rated sealant and large areas need the right product, the right access and the right method.
Questions from EN2
Do you come to EN2?
Yes. We cover EN2 and the rest of Greater London. To book, ring 0345 464 0079 or email us.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, we are fully insured for every job we do.
Where do you work from?
We work from Crawley. Our applicators cover EN2.
What do you put in the joint?
The product depends on the job: anti-fungal sanitary silicone in wet areas, and other sealants where joints move or face the weather. Brands we use include Arbo and Everbuild.
Do you remove the old sealant?
Yes. Sealing over the old bead is the commonest cause of early failure, so we never do it.
Can you reseal around my kitchen sink and worktop?
Yes. We reseal worktop upstands, sinks and splashbacks, with a sealant suited to kitchens, colour-matched where it shows.
Do you hold any approvals?
Yes. We’re ARBOMaster approved, the scheme for applicators of Arbo sealants.
