Our story
Mr Mastic has been doing mastic and sealant work for more than 20 years. We’re based in Crawley, West Sussex, and over that time we’ve completed more than 2,847 projects for homeowners, landlords, hotels and businesses.
We do one thing and do it properly. Sealant is a small part of any bathroom, kitchen or building, but it’s the part that keeps water out. Most of the failed sealant we see failed because of the preparation, not the product: new silicone laid over old, joints sealed while they were wet or dirty, or the wrong sealant in a joint that moves.
How we work
- We always cut out all of the old sealant. New silicone doesn’t bond to old silicone.
- We treat mould and let joints dry before sealing.
- We use the right product for each joint: sanitary silicone, exterior sealant, glazing silicone, fire-rated sealant or sand mastic.
- We protect your home or building and leave it tidy.
- We tell you how long to leave the new sealant before using it.
