Bathroom resealing in AB24: how it works
With over 20 years in the trade, we reseal baths, showers and kitchens in homes across AB24. We’re fully insured ARBOMaster approved applicators, and the work comes with a 12-month guarantee. Typical jobs include a bead that has pulled away from the tiles and damp behind the bath or under the tray, across sinks & splashbacks, kitchen worktops & upstands and baths.

DIY sealant or a professional job?
A careful DIYer can reseal a simple joint, like a short, easy-to-reach joint indoors. The common mistakes are sealing over old sealant, sealing a damp joint and using far too much.
If you’re set on DIY, put the effort into preparation: take out all the old sealant, make sure the joint is clean and dry, and give it the full cure time. If it fails, we can still redo it.

Sealing over old silicone is one of the commonest mistakes we find. Fresh silicone can’t grip the old bead underneath, so it peels, leaks and hides mould behind it.

- Shrunken sealant along the back of a worktop
- Gaps where the bath or tray has moved
