The secret of a lasting bead is the preparation. The old sealant is removed to the last smear, after which the joint is degreased and any mould treated. Only once it’s dry does the new bead go on. Typical jobs include mouldy sealant that has gone black and water getting behind the bath panel, across shower trays & enclosures, sinks & splashbacks and wet rooms.
Our applicators work methodically: protection first, then preparation, sealing and a tidy-up. Typically it takes two to three hours for a typical bath, depending on how much old sealant there is, and the area is left clean.
