About our regrouting in Pinewood Village
Across Pinewood Village, we regrout tiled showers, bathrooms and kitchens. The old grout is raked out, the joints cleaned and new grout laid, and we finish by resealing the edges. Typical jobs include grout that makes sound tiles look old and cracked grout along the bath or tray, across wet rooms, bathroom wall tiles and tiled floors.
In a smaller place like Pinewood Village, homes are mostly houses and bungalows rather than flats, from older cottages to newer builds. Bathrooms and kitchens here get the same daily wear as anywhere, and the sealant and grout show it first.
All our work comes with our one-year guarantee, wherever you are in Hampshire.

The process
Our applicators work methodically: protect, prepare, seal, tidy. For most jobs that takes anything from a few hours to a full day, depending on the area. For a job in Pinewood Village, we agree the time, the access and parking before the day. If the work is outside, the weather plays a part, as sealant needs a dry surface.
- We agree the area to be regrouted and point out any loose tiles.
- Grout is raked out without chipping the tiles.
- Dust is cleared from every joint.
- We grout the joints and wipe the tiles clean.
- Internal corners and edges are resealed.

What sealant work can’t fix
A few problems are outside what sealant work can do:
- Tiles that are loose or hollow behind
- Water coming from plumbing rather than grout
- Waterproofing that has failed below the tiling

What affects the quote in Pinewood Village
Call for a quick quote. The main things that affect it are:
- The size of the job
- The number of rooms or windows
- Access and height
- Which sealant suits the joint
No two jobs are quite the same, so we quote each one individually. The number of joints, how easy they are to reach and the sealant needed all make a difference, and we will explain the quote if you ask.
What to tell us for a quote
You do not need to know the technical terms. It helps if you can tell us:
- Access, such as stairs, a lift or height

Pinewood Village questions
Can you help a landlord with a rental near Bentley (Hampshire) station?
Yes, landlords and agents are among the people we work for. Just call 0345 464 0079 or drop us an email with the address and what needs doing, and we will give you a clear quote.
Do you cover smaller places like Pinewood Village?
Yes, Pinewood Village is covered. We work across London and the South East, from towns to the smallest places. The journey is planned ahead, so it helps to know about access.
Is it worth trying it myself?
Sometimes. The key is preparation: remove all the old material and work on a clean, dry joint. We can always put it right if it fails.
How soon can the shower be used after regrouting?
It varies with the products and the room. We will tell you exactly how long when the job is done.
How long does the job take?
That depends on the amount of work, but most jobs take a few hours, or longer for a fully tiled room. We will give you a better idea when we quote.
Can you regrout just the shower?
Yes, we often do. The shower normally fails first, so many people regrout just that part.
What information do you need?
The location, the problem and the rough size of the job. Photos by email help too.
Where are you based?

Regrouting around Pinewood Village
Most of the South East has hard water, so limescale builds up on sealant, grout and fittings, and it has to be cleaned off before new sealant goes in.
For landlords with property near Bentley (Hampshire) station, stained grout drags a rental down, and regrouting between lets puts that right. For an older house near a landmark such as St Mark's Sacred Church, timber floors under older bathrooms flex, so joints need a sealant that moves with them. For site and facilities teams at buildings such as Bordon Junior School, washroom and kitchen sealant there needs the same care as at home, and schools and businesses are part of our work as well as homes.

Leave it or put it right?
Colouring the surface of old grout is a quick cosmetic fix. They won’t fill gaps or keep water out and stains often come back through. A proper regrout puts new grout in the joint. Around Pinewood Village, water from a failed joint in an older home can soak into timber and plaster, and that is a much bigger job than renewing the sealant.
There are no prices on our website, because the cost depends so much on the job itself. Call for a quick quote.

DIY sealant or a professional job?
Sealing over old silicone is the commonest DIY error. Silicone doesn’t stick to old silicone, so it lifts and traps water and mould underneath. Everything old must be removed first.
If you’ve already had a go yourself, that is fine. We remove it and do the joint properly, so tell us about it when you ask for a quote.
How to look after the new joints
No joint lasts for ever, but care makes a real difference. A few tips:
- Use a soft brush rather than a wire one
- Open a window or run the fan to clear steam
- Use gentle cleaners on grout
- Have loose tiles looked at early
Keep an eye on the silicone in the corners. Corners flex, so the sealant there will need renewing in time.
Stains that won’t clean are a sign the grout is breaking down. Regrouting at this stage is straightforward while the tiles are still sound.
