London Docklands Bathroom Resealing
Problem with your baths, showers and worktops in London Docklands? We remove the old material, prepare the joints and seal them properly, with a one-year guarantee.
- Lumpy, uneven sealant from a DIY attempt
- Failed sealant on the screen profile
- Gaps between the worktop and the wall
Why act early in London Docklands
You do not need a new bathroom because the sealant looks bad. A new bead often brings the whole room back, provided the bath, tray and tiles are in good order. If we find a deeper problem, you’ll hear it from us. Damp from a failed joint spreads quietly in older London brickwork and timber, and by the time it shows on a wall or ceiling in London Docklands, the repair is bigger than the sealant job would have been.
There are no prices on our website, because the cost depends so much on the job itself. For a quick quote, please phone 0345 464 0079 or send us an email and we’ll talk you through it.

How we handle bathroom resealing in London Docklands
Showers work their sealant harder than baths. Tray edges, screen profiles and wet room joints all rely on silicone to stay watertight. They’re resealed with anti-fungal sanitary silicone, tooled smooth so water runs off instead of sitting in a ridge. If you have water escaping at the shower enclosure and lumpy, uneven sealant from a DIY attempt, we can help, on wet rooms, shower trays & enclosures and sinks & splashbacks alike.
Hard London water leaves limescale on sealant, grout and taps alike. In London Docklands, bathroom resealing is as much about a room looking cared for as about keeping water out.

What else we do in London Docklands
How the job changes by surface
Wet rooms
Not every wet room leak is a sealant problem. We check the joints and say so if the fault looks to be elsewhere.
Sinks & splashbacks
Splashbacks in glass, tile or acrylic meet the worktop in a long joint. We renew it in clear, white or a matched colour.
Bathroom resealing around London Docklands
London has a lot of flats and conversions, and a failed shower or bath seal in one can show up on the ceiling below, so tired sealant is best dealt with early. London’s water is hard, so limescale builds up on sealant, grout and fittings.
London Docklands is in London, so parking needs planning: tell us about permits, visitor bays or off-street space when you book. For an older house near a landmark such as St Peter's Church, bathrooms in older houses have often been refitted more than once, with sealant laid over sealant.

Your questions about bathroom resealing in London Docklands
I let a flat near Canary Wharf station. Can you help?
Yes, we work for landlords and letting agents. You can ring 0345 464 0079 or send us an email with the address and a few details, and we’ll give you a fixed price before work begins.
I live in a flat in London Docklands. Can a failed seal leak into the flat below?
Yes. In a flat, water from a failed bath or shower seal has only one way to go, and that’s down. A proper reseal before the leak starts is the easy fix.
Can I add another job to the visit?
Yes, and it often makes sense. Combining jobs makes good use of the visit, so mention them when you ask for a quote.
Do I need to be at home?
That depends on where the joints are. Inside work needs someone to give us access.
Can I do it myself?
You can, for simple jobs. The key is preparation: remove all the old material and work on a clean, dry joint. If it doesn’t work out, we can redo it.
How long will the resealing take?
It depends on how many joints there are and how much old sealant has to come out. Allow a couple of hours for a typical bath or shower.
Can you work on commercial sites?
Yes. Hotels, offices and other businesses use us, and we’re fully insured.
Which products do you use?
It depends on the joint: sanitary silicone where it gets wet, and sealants suited to movement or weather elsewhere. We use products from Arbo and Everbuild.

Quotes for bathroom resealing in London Docklands
For a quick quote, just ask. What matters most is:
- The number of rooms or windows
- Which sealant suits the joint
- How much old sealant there is and how hard it is to remove
- Whether there’s mould to deal with
Rather than a set price list, we price the job in front of us: how many joints, what’s in them now and how we reach them. You’ll know the price before we begin.
What we need to know
What to tell us when you ask for a quote:
- If it’s domestic, commercial or a hotel
- Any access issues, like height or stairs
- A few pictures by email, if you can
- The problem you’ve noticed
Quotes start with a quick conversation. Tell us what’s wrong, where it is and how much there is, and we will talk you through what we’d do. When it suits you, call 0345 464 0079 or drop us an email.
The process
When we arrive, we start by going over the job with you. Surfaces next to the work are protected before any work starts. The work normally takes two to three hours for a typical bath, depending on how much old sealant there is. In London Docklands, flats, stairs and shared entrances are part of the routine. Mention any building rules, key holders or managing agents when you book.
- First, each joint is checked for movement and signs of water.
- The old silicone is cut out completely, along with the film it leaves on the tiles.
- Joints are degreased and any mould is treated.
- When the joint is dry, and a bath has been filled with water, the new silicone goes on.
- The bead is tooled smooth and you are told the cure time, usually around 24 hours.
Getting ready for the visit
- Mention if the joints have been sealed before
- On commercial sites, let us know about site rules
- Tell us about access, such as stairs, a lift or high-level joints

Advice
What we’re called out for in London Docklands
Older sealant shrinks and hardens. In kitchens it often shrinks away from the back edge, opening a hairline gap that lets water and crumbs in. Hot pans and harsh cleaners don’t help.
The problems people normally mention when they call are:
- Shrunken sealant along the back of a worktop
- A messy, uneven bead from a previous reseal
- Splits where the tray meets the wall
- Damp behind the bath or under the tray
If you look after a building such as Tower Hamlets College, washroom and kitchen sealant there needs the same care as at home, and schools and businesses are part of our work as well as homes.
What your quote should include
- The length of the guarantee
- When the joint can take water or movement
- How the surfaces are prepared before sealing
- How much experience the applicator has
