Regrouting in Millwall, Greater London
Our applicators work in Millwall on raking out old, cracked or stained grout and regrouting tiled walls and floors. Old material cut out, joints cleaned and sealed neatly and a one-year guarantee.
- Good tiles let down by tired grout
- Grout washed out of a shower
- Dirty, worn grout on a tiled floor
How we handle regrouting in Millwall
When grout stays dark however much you clean it, the stain is often in the grout itself. New grout is the fix that lasts and you can pick a different colour while you are at it. If you have crumbling grout between the tiles and kitchen splashback grout stained by grease, we can help, whatever the surface.
London’s water is hard, so limescale builds up along sealant lines, in grout and on fittings. For a bathroom or kitchen in Millwall, getting the joints right keeps water where it belongs and the room looking clean.

What affects the cost of regrouting
Some jobs are bigger than they look, and some smaller. What affects the quote:
- Any mould that needs treating
- How many rooms, windows or areas are involved
- Access and height
- How much there is to do
The cost reflects the work involved, not guesswork. That is why we ask a few questions first and send you a clear quote before any work starts.
What we need to know
The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote. When you get in contact, it helps to mention:
- Access, such as stairs, a lift or height
- The address or postcode of the job
- The rough size of the job
- The type of property
If you’re in Millwall and need regrouting, call 0345 464 0079 or email us. A short description of the job and where it is helps us quote, and we will agree the price before any work begins.
Honest limits
We’d rather tell you now than do work that won’t last, so here’s what sealant cannot put right:
- Tiles that are loose or hollow behind
- Damaged tiles that need replacing
- Movement in a stud wall or floor
Not sure which it is? You can phone 0345 464 0079 or email us and we’ll tell you honestly.
What we seal
- Shower walls
- Bathroom floors
- Tiled floors
- Kitchen splashbacks
- Bathroom wall tiles
- Wet rooms
Questions from Millwall
Is parking an issue for regrouting in Millwall?
In much of London, parking needs planning: a visitor permit or a nearby bay makes the day run more smoothly, so mention what’s available when you book.
I let a flat near Deptford station. Can you help?
Yes, rental work is part of what we do. You can ring 0345 464 0079 or send us an email with the address and a few details, and we’ll give you a fixed price before work begins.
Can you seal over the old sealant?
No. We remove every bit of old sealant first, so the new joint bonds to clean surfaces.
Where are you based?
We work from Crawley. Our applicators cover Millwall.
Do you take out the old sealant first?
Yes, always, and completely. New silicone does not stick to old silicone, so the joint is cleaned back first.
What do you put in the joint?
We choose the sealant for the joint, not the other way round. Where it moves, gets wet or faces the weather makes a difference.
Is it possible to regrout only the shower area?
Yes. We will check the other tiled areas as well and let you know if more needs doing.
Do you come to Millwall?
Yes, we do. Our applicators work in Millwall, and the service is the same as everywhere else.
How the visit works
On the day, we look over the joints with you first, so you know exactly what we’re doing. We protect the surfaces around the joints before any work begins. Most jobs take a few hours for a shower enclosure, longer for a whole room. In Millwall, flats, stairs and shared entrances are part of the routine. Mention any building rules, key holders or managing agents when you book.
- First we agree what’s being done and flag any loose tiles.
- We remove the old grout carefully.
- The joints are cleaned out and vacuumed.
- The new grout goes in, then the tile faces are cleaned.
- We renew the silicone at the corners and edges.
Before we arrive
- Clear the area around the work
- Mention any leaks or damp you’ve noticed
- Plan for the work area to be out of bounds to pets and children

Advice
Landlords, agents and businesses in Millwall
Housing providers, facilities teams and property managers book us too in Millwall and across Greater London. Several sites can go on one quote, and we are fully insured.
We also work for businesses, from offices to washrooms and kitchens. On commercial sites, working times can be discussed when we quote.
Why act early in Millwall
It’s tempting to fill a few cracks yourself, but patched grout rarely matches the rest and the old grout carries on failing. Doing the full area gives you one colour and sound joints throughout. Converted houses in London often have a bathroom above someone else’s living room, and a slow leak from a failed seal can end up in the flat below. Dealing with it early is far simpler.
No two jobs are quite the same, so each one gets its own quote. Size, access and the product the joint needs all make a difference, and we will explain the quote if you ask.

Aftercare tips
Simple care keeps the joints in good condition. Our advice:
- Keep an eye on the silicone along the edges
- Keep the fan on after showering
- Use a squeegee on the tiles after showering
- Have loose tiles looked at early
Use a gentle cleaner on the grout with a soft brush. Keep harsh bleach and acid limescale removers away from it because they wear grout away.
Cracked grout doesn’t stay cracked for long. Water gets in behind and the tiles can start to loosen and early regrouting can avoid a much bigger job.
Bathrooms and kitchens in Millwall
London has hard water, so limescale builds up on sealant, grout and fittings, and it has to be cleaned off before new sealant goes in. In a London flat, water from a failed bath or shower seal can reach the neighbours below, which is why it’s worth fixing early.
If you live in an older home near Church of St Nicholas, timber floors under older bathrooms flex, so joints need a sealant that moves with them. For site and facilities teams at buildings such as Harbinger Primary School, we reseal washrooms and kitchens in schools and businesses as well as homes. Millwall is in London, so parking needs planning: let us know about parking bays, permits or a driveway.
