Regrouting in Kingsfold
Raking out old, cracked or stained grout and regrouting tiled walls and floors in Kingsfold, with a one-year guarantee on every job. Call for a quick quote.
- Grout washed out of a shower
- Dirty, worn grout on a tiled floor
- Splashback grout that has darkened
Leave it or put it right?
Once grout cracks, water can get behind the tiling. Leave it, and the adhesive or the wall behind can suffer, which turns a regrout into a retile. Sorting it early keeps the job simple. In a small place like Kingsfold, homes can be exposed to wind and rain, which finds any gap, and older walls, once damp, take a long time to dry.
What you pay reflects the work, not guesswork. That’s why we ask about the job first and agree the price before starting.
Why us?
- A 12-month guarantee on all work
- We never seal over old sealant
- Experience in homes, commercial sites and hotels
- Quality sealants from Arbo and Everbuild

Regrouting for homes and businesses in Kingsfold
A grout colour change can freshen a room without retiling. You might go from white to grey, or the other way round. Tell us what you have in mind when you ask for a quote. We work on tiled floors, bathroom floors and bathroom wall tiles, and people most often call us about grout that’s cracking and breaking up and stained grout that cleaning won’t shift.
For a small place like Kingsfold, regrouting is planned like any other job: the journey and access are simply agreed in advance. In the bathroom or kitchen, the work is the same as in any town.

For landlords and businesses
We work for landlords and agents as well as homeowners. Resealing between tenancies keeps a property looking cared for before the next move-in.
Whether it’s one flat or a portfolio, you get the same standard of work: the old material taken out, careful preparation and a 12-month guarantee.
What the job involves on each surface
Wet rooms
Wet rooms have water across the floor, so good grout is important. We check for loose tiles before starting.
Corners and edges
Where tiles meet a bath, tray or worktop, the joint is sealed. Grout there would crack.
What affects the quote in Kingsfold
The quote reflects the job in front of us. We take into account:
- The type of sealant required
- Access and height
- Mould in or behind the old joints
- The number and length of the joints
What it costs depends on how much there is to do, how much old material has to come out and access to the work. You will have a clear quote before any work starts, so you know where you stand.
Asking for a quote
There’s no need for technical detail. Just tell us:
- Photos by email, if that’s easy
- The address or postcode of the job
- The rough size of the job
- Any access issues, like height or stairs
Want a quote for regrouting? Please phone 0345 464 0079 or drop us an email and tell us about the job. You will know what we plan to do, and what it will cost, before any work begins.
How to look after the new joints
Once the sealant has cured, a few habits help it last:
- Rinse the tiles after showering
- Run the extractor fan during and after a shower
- Wipe or squeegee the shower walls
- Do not use strong acidic cleaners on grout
Keep an eye on the silicone in the corners. It’s the part that moves, so it’s normally the first thing to need attention.
Small problems with grout are quick to put right. Left, the same problem can let water through, so get it looked at when you notice it.
Should I try it myself first?
A DIY attempt doesn’t rule out a professional job. We remove it and do the joint properly, so just mention it when you contact us.
What a professional job adds is preparation and the right product. Joints are cleaned back to sound surfaces and dried, and the sealant is chosen for how the joint moves and where it is, and the work is guaranteed for a year.
FAQs for Kingsfold
Is Kingsfold in your area for regrouting?
Yes. Our work covers London and the South East, and Kingsfold is part of that. You can call 0345 464 0079 or send us an email and let us know what needs doing.
Can you help a landlord with a rental near Warnham station?
Yes. We work for landlords and letting agents as well as householders. You can phone 0345 464 0079 or drop us an email with the details for a clear quote.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes, regularly. Larger jobs can be planned room by room or area by area.
Will it make a mess?
No. We work neatly, protect the area around the joints and tidy up afterwards.
How long will you be here?
Typically it takes anything from a few hours to a full day, depending on the area. Larger jobs naturally take longer, and we’ll say how long yours will take.
Where is Mr Mastic based?
We work from Crawley. Our applicators cover Kingsfold, along with the rest of our area.
Can you seal over the old sealant?
No, and we never do. It may look fine at first, but the new bead soon lifts. Removing the old sealant completely is the only lasting way.
Should I try DIY first?
For a simple, easy-to-reach joint, a careful DIYer can do a reasonable job. The usual mistakes are sealing over old sealant, sealing a damp joint and using too much.

How the visit works
Every visit runs the same way: we check the joints, mask and protect the surrounding surfaces, carry out the job and tidy away. Most jobs take anything from a few hours to a full day, depending on the area. Somewhere as small as Kingsfold, access is often the only tricky part. If the job is outside, mention outbuildings, exposed walls and how to reach them.
- Every tile area is checked for hollow or loose tiles first.
- We rake out the grout evenly, protecting the tile edges.
- We vacuum the joints so the new grout bonds.
- We regrout the joints and clean the tile faces.
- We finish with silicone in the moving joints.
Getting ready for the visit
- Move anything stored near the joints
- Let us know about stairs, lifts or work at height
- Keep pets and children clear of the area while we work
