Our bathroom resealing service in GU21

A bead that has gone black, split or come away shouldn’t be left until there’s a leak. Just call 0345 464 0079 or send us an email with a photo of the joints, and we will give you a clear price before any work starts. Common call-outs are for water escaping at the shower enclosure and new sealant laid over old sealant that is now lifting, on kitchen worktops & upstands, basins & vanity units and sinks & splashbacks.

We bring everything the job needs with us, so you don’t need to buy or prepare anything. Once we have agreed what’s being done, we protect the area and start. It normally takes two to three hours for a typical bath, depending on how much old sealant there is.

  1. Protection goes down around the bath, shower or worktop.
  2. We cut away the old sealant and clean off what’s left.
  3. Mould is treated, then the joint is left to dry thoroughly.
  4. Any bath is filled with water, then we lay a bead of anti-fungal silicone in white, clear or a matching colour.
  5. We finish the joint, clear up and tell you how long to leave it before it gets wet.

How we quote

Every job is a little different, so each one gets its own quote. Size, access and the product the joint needs all play a part.

Bathrooms and kitchens across GU21

Our bathroom resealing work across GU21 covers homes, rentals and businesses, in Woking, Goldsworth Park and St John's and well beyond. Wherever the job is, all the old material comes out before anything new goes in.

From Victorian terraces to post-war new towns and modern estates, homes across the South East and London cover every era. The right sealant depends on the age and materials of the building, wherever it is in GU21.

Woking: For landlords with property near Woking station, mouldy sealant is one of the first things a new tenant notices, so it’s worth renewing between lets. For site and facilities teams at buildings such as Goldsworth Primary School, its toilets, changing areas and kitchens need their sealant renewed like any other building’s.

What affects the quote in GU21

Call for a quick quote. What matters most is:

  • Which sealant suits the joint
  • How many areas need sealing
  • Any working-time requirements on site
  • Whether the work is at height

Rather than a set price list, we look at what your job involves: how many joints, what’s in them now and how we reach them. The price is agreed before we begin.

Asking for a quote

There’s no need for technical detail. Just tell us:

  • Access, such as stairs, a lift or height
  • Whether it has been sealed before
  • What the problem is, such as mould, gaps, leaks or cracking
  • Whether it’s a home or a business

It all starts with a short chat. Describe the problem, the location and the size of the job, and we’ll talk you through what we’d do. Whenever you are ready, phone 0345 464 0079 or email us.

What sealant work cannot fix

It helps to know what we can’t do too:

  • Leaks from a shower valve, waste or pipework (a plumber’s job)
  • A tray that rocks until it’s re-bedded
  • Failed grout lines across the wall

How to look after the new joints

Aftercare is simple, and it makes a real difference:

  • Dry worktop joints after washing up
  • Use gentle cleaners on the silicone
  • Squeegee the walls and tray after use
  • Run the extractor fan during and after every shower

Treat the new bead gently when you clean: a mild bathroom cleaner and a soft cloth is enough. Avoid scouring pads and anything sharp, and a nicked bead lets mould in sooner.

Worktop joints fail quietly. Water gets behind the upstand and into the edge of a laminate worktop, and the board underneath can swell. A reseal in time can save the worktop.

Why deal with it now?

The difference in a professional reseal is mostly what you don’t see: removing all the old sealant, degreasing the joint, treating mould and drying it properly. Without that preparation, the new bead won’t last.

What your quote should include

  • What the cure time is
  • What product goes in the joint
  • How much experience the applicator has
  • What insurance they hold

Common questions in GU21

Are you insured?

Yes. We’re fully insured, with over 20 years’ experience in sealant work.

How long does the new silicone need before I use the shower?

We give you the cure time before we leave, and it’s generally around 24 hours. Getting it wet too early can spoil the new joint.

How do I get a quote for bathroom resealing in GU21?

There’s no set price, as it depends on the job: its size, the old material, access and the product needed. You will get a clear quote before we start.

Which products do you use?

We choose the sealant for the joint, not the other way round. Where it moves, gets wet or faces the weather makes a difference, and we will tell you what we are using.

Do you work for letting agents?

Yes, often. Several properties can be quoted together.

Can you work on commercial sites?

Yes. We have worked for hotels, offices and other businesses, and we’re fully insured.

Is it messy?

Very little: the area around the joints is protected first, and we tidy up before we go.
