Commercial Sealant in Liquo
Commercial sealant across Liquo and nearby, with every bit of old sealant taken out first and a 12-month guarantee.
- Large numbers of bathrooms needing the same work
- Mouldy washroom sealant that staff and guests notice
- Failed floor-level joints in accessible wet rooms
What happens if it’s left?
Refitting a washroom is a big, disruptive project. When the fittings are sound, renewing the sealant brings it back with far less upheaval. We’ll tell you if we find anything that needs another trade. When the nearest tradesperson is a drive away, it’s tempting to leave a small leak, but water through a failed joint keeps working away until it’s fixed.
Homes and businesses are quoted the same way: the amount of work, the access and the products needed, plus any working-time requirements on site. Ask us for a quote and we’ll explain what it covers.
Why book with us
- White, clear, grey or another colour, product permitting
- An ARBOMaster approved applicator
- Homes, businesses and hotels
- Any old sealant cut out fully, not covered over

Commercial sealant in Liquo
In showers and washrooms we use anti-fungal sanitary silicone, with a food-safe sealant by kitchen sinks where needed. We use sealants from Arbo and Everbuild, applied by ARBOMaster approved applicators. If you have mouldy washroom sealant that staff and guests notice and failed joints in office kitchens and tea points, we can help, on retail & leisure sites, student & care accommodation and hotel bathrooms alike.
Commercial work around smaller Scottish places tends to mean hotels, guest houses, schools and halls rather than offices. All of them have washrooms, kitchens and fire-rated joints that need looking after.
A 12-month guarantee comes as standard, so you are not left on your own once the job is done.

Should I try it myself first?
Some sealant jobs are within reach of a careful DIYer, such as a straightforward joint indoors. Where it goes wrong is sealing over the old bead, working on a wet joint or overloading the gap.
Sealing over old silicone is the commonest DIY error. New silicone won’t bond to old, so it peels away and traps moisture behind it. Everything old must be removed first.
When it isn’t the sealant
Honest advice matters more to us than a booking, so here’s what sealant can’t fix:
- Faulty shower valves and leaking traps
- Tiles coming off the wall
- A broken extractor fan behind the mould problem
Not sure which it is? You can send an email to info@mrmastic.co.uk and we’ll tell you honestly.

Quotes for commercial sealant in Liquo
There’s no set price list, because no two jobs are the same. The quote depends on:
- The number of rooms or windows
- Whether old sealant or filler has to be cut out
- Which sealant suits the joint
- When we can work, for business premises
Every job is a little different, so we quote each one individually. Size, access and the product the joint needs all play a part.
Asking for a quote
Before you ask for a quote, have a think about:
- Where the property is
- Pictures of the joints, sent by email
- Access, such as stairs, a lift or height
- How many joints, rooms or windows are involved
It all starts with a short chat. Tell us what’s wrong, where it is and how much there is. Whenever you’re ready, drop us a line at info@mrmastic.co.uk.
The process
A visit follows a simple pattern: we look at the joints together, protect the area around them, do the work and clear up. It normally takes a few hours per room, so whole buildings are phased. Around Liquo, distance and access matter more than parking. Tell us how to find the property and how to reach the work, and the visit is planned around that.
- We start by looking at the rooms and agreeing what’s needed.
- Working hours are agreed, including early starts or out-of-hours work where it can be arranged.
- Areas are protected and the failed sealant removed.
- Joints are dried, then resealed and tooled neatly.
- Housekeeping or site staff are told when each area can be used.
Getting ready for the visit
- Mention any parking rules near the property
- Move anything stored near the joints
- On commercial sites, let us know about site rules
