Halland Regrouting
Our applicators work in Halland on raking out old, cracked or stained grout and regrouting tiled walls and floors. Old material cut out, joints cleaned and sealed neatly and a one-year guarantee.
- A grout colour that no longer suits the room
- Grout that makes sound tiles look old
- Corners filled with grout instead of silicone
About our regrouting in Halland
Grout fills the gaps between tiles, while sealant goes where tiles meet a bath, tray or worktop. When grout cracks or washes out, water can get in behind the tiles. We rake it out and replace it, then reseal the corners and edges. We work on kitchen splashbacks, tiled floors and bathroom wall tiles, and common reasons people get in touch are a grout colour that no longer suits the room and floor grout that has worn and darkened.
Being in a small place like Halland makes no difference to the job itself: the journey and access are simply agreed in advance. Once we’re there, the bathroom or kitchen gets the same care as anywhere else.
All of our work is guaranteed for twelve months.

What we cannot put right
To be straight with you, some problems need a different trade:
- Waterproofing that has failed below the tiling
- Loose tiles, which need refixing first
- A structure that flexes behind the tiles
Not sure which it is? You can ring 0345 464 0079 or send us an email and we will tell you honestly before you book.

How we quote for regrouting
Every job gets its own quote. This is what makes a difference:
- The type of sealant required
- The size of the job
- Whether the work is at height
- Mould in or behind the old joints
A few things move the cost up or down: the old material and how easily it comes out, any mould to treat, and whether the work is at height. We take all of that into account in your quote.
Asking for a quote
Before you ask for a quote, have a think about:
- Whether it’s a home or a business
- A few photos by email, if you can
- Any access issues, like height or stairs
- How many joints, rooms or windows are involved
A good description makes for an accurate quote. Let us know the location, the problem and roughly how many joints.
Bathrooms and kitchens in Halland
Hard water is the norm across most of the South East, so limescale builds up on sealant, grout and fittings.
If you let a flat or house near Uckfield station, stained grout drags a rental down, and regrouting between lets puts that right. If you look after a building such as East Hoathly CofE Primary School, washroom and kitchen sealant there needs the same care as at home, and schools and businesses are part of our work as well as homes.
Halland is about 3 miles south-east of Uckfield, in East Sussex. For regrouting in and around Halland, it’s easy to get a quote: please ring 0345 464 0079 or send us an email. We cover East Sussex from our Crawley base. Our East Sussex coverage runs to 289 places, and Halland is one of them. We also work in Brighton, around 13 miles away.

Neighbouring places we cover for regrouting include East Hoathly (1 mile east), Shortgate (1 mile south-west), Whitesmith (2 miles south-east), Framfield (2 miles north) and Blackboys (3 miles north-east). We also work in nearby towns such as Eastbourne (12 miles south-east), Seaford (11 miles south), Lewes (7 miles south-west), Hailsham (7 miles south-east), Crowborough (8 miles north) and Newhaven (10 miles south).
Around Halland
Halland’s nearest station is Uckfield station, about 3.1 miles north-west of the centre. Well-known places in the area include Tickerage Castle (2.8 miles north) and Museum of Agricultural Bygones (3.1 miles south-west). Not far away are Selwyns Wood.
Why act early in Halland
If tiles are loose, regrouting alone is not the answer. We will tell you before any work starts, so you can decide what to do. Where the tiles are sound, regrouting is far less disruptive than retiling. In a small place like Halland, homes can be exposed to wind and rain, which finds any gap, and older walls, once damp, take a long time to dry.
Every job is a little different, so we quote each one individually. The number of joints, how easy they are to reach and the sealant needed all make a difference, and we will explain the quote if you ask.

Surface by surface
Bathroom wall tiles
Whole bathroom walls can be regrouted in one visit or more, depending on size. You can change the colour at the same time.
Shower walls
Most regrouting jobs include a shower. Gaps here let water get behind the tiling.
Work for landlords, hotels and businesses
Mouldy or split sealant often shows up at the end of a tenancy, and it’s easy to sort out between tenants. We can quote for more than one property at once.
From a single let to a portfolio, the work is the same standard: the old material taken out, careful preparation and a 12-month guarantee.
Looking after it afterwards
Joint life depends on how it’s used and looked after. We suggest:
- Rinse soap off the tiles after each shower
- Clean grout with a mild bathroom cleaner
- Wipe or squeegee the shower walls
- Use a soft brush rather than a wire one
Before we leave, you’ll know when the shower can be used. Please follow it, and avoid scrubbing the new grout hard for the first few days.
Stains that will not clean are a sign the grout is breaking down. At this point it’s a simple regrout while the tiles are still sound.
Halland questions
I let a flat near Uckfield station. Can you help?
Yes, rental work is part of what we do. Just call 0345 464 0079 or email us and tell us about the property, and we’ll give you a clear quote.
Do you cover smaller places like Halland?
Yes, Halland is covered. We work across London and the South East, and smaller places are part of that. The journey is planned ahead, so it helps to know about access.
What goes in the corners, grout or silicone?
We seal corners with silicone. They flex and grout cannot take that movement.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes. We work in offices, washrooms, hotels and other commercial premises, as well as homes. We can talk about working times when we quote.
Is it possible to regrout only the shower area?
Yes, we often do. The shower normally fails first, so many people regrout just that part.
Is resealing included with regrouting?
Most of the time, yes. Grout and sealant do different jobs, so both are renewed and it’s all in the quote.
Can you do several jobs on one visit?
Yes. Several rooms, windows or areas can go on one quote.
Is regrouting a chance to pick a new grout colour?
It can. With the old grout removed, the new colour fills the whole joint, not just the surface.
How the visit works
When we arrive, we look over the joints with you first, so you know exactly what we are doing. We protect the surfaces around the joints before any work begins. Most jobs take a few hours for a shower enclosure, longer for a whole room. In a small place like Halland, access is normally the main thing to plan. For outside work, also let us know about exposed walls and any outbuildings involved.
- First we agree what’s being done and flag any loose tiles.
- We remove the old grout carefully.
- The joints are cleaned out and vacuumed.
- We grout the joints and wipe the tiles clean.
- Internal corners and edges are resealed.
Getting ready for the visit
- Tell us about any water getting in
- Tell us about access, such as stairs, a lift or high-level joints
- Tell us if parking is tricky
