Need commercial sealant in Huntershill Village?

Commercial sealant for homes and businesses in Huntershill Village

We fit the work around your building. Rooms can be done one at a time, floor by floor or in batches, and out-of-hours work or early starts can be arranged where it helps. Common call-outs are for leaking joints in shower rooms and changing areas and shower leaks reaching the floor below, on rental portfolios, student & care accommodation and hotel bathrooms.

In a smaller place like Huntershill Village, commercial jobs are more likely to be a hotel, guest house, school, surgery or community hall than an office block. All of them have washrooms, kitchens and fire-rated joints that need looking after.

A one-year guarantee comes as standard, so you’re not left on your own once the job is done.

Landlords, agents and businesses in Huntershill Village

In hotels, rooms out of use cost money, so the work can be planned room by room. We have worked in hotels as well as homes and businesses.

Letting agents often deal with us directly. Tell us the address, the job and how access works and we will quote.

How the job changes by surface

Student & care accommodation

Halls and care homes often have many near-identical bathrooms. A room-by-room programme keeps the job efficient.

Retail & leisure sites

Retail and leisure sites have washrooms, kitchens and changing areas with sealant to maintain. Work can be arranged outside opening hours where that’s possible.

Keeping the joints in good condition

To keep the joints looking good and working properly:

  • Tell cleaning staff when each room can be used
  • Note the date each area was done
  • Include the silicone on your room checklists
  • Get split or lifting joints looked at early

Add sealant checks to your planned maintenance. Checking joints alongside other room checks catches failures before they leak.

Mould in shared washrooms gets noticed and talked about. The longer it’s left, the deeper it grows into the silicone, so the fix is replacement.

Can I do it myself?

If you are set on DIY, put the effort into preparation: take out all the old sealant, make sure the joint is clean and dry, and give it the full cure time. If it doesn’t work out, we can still put it right.

Not every job suits DIY: high-level joints, fire-rated gaps, external movement joints and big jobs need the right product, the right access and the right method.

What we can’t put right

It helps to know what we can’t do:

  • Water damage behind the tiles that needs a tiler or builder
  • Water coming from plumbing rather than sealant
  • A shower tray, bath or basin that is cracked or broken

Not sure which it is? You can send an email to info@mrmastic.co.uk and we will tell you honestly before booking.

What we seal

  • Hotel bathrooms
  • Rental portfolios
  • Office washrooms & kitchens
  • Student & care accommodation
  • Welfare facilities

What affects the quote in Huntershill Village

The quote reflects the job in front of us. We look at:

  • Mould in or behind the old joints
  • The old material and how stubborn it is
  • Access and height
  • The type of sealant required

Doing several joints on one visit is normally more efficient than separate visits, so it’s worth mentioning everything you’d like done. We’ll give you a clear price for the lot.

What to tell us for a quote

The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote. When you ask for a quote, tell us:

  • Where the job is, and your postcode
  • The rough size of the job
  • Any previous sealing or DIY work
  • What the problem is, such as mould, gaps, leaks or cracking

Need a quote? Please email us at info@mrmastic.co.uk with a few details. You’ll know what we plan to do, and what it will cost, before any work begins.

Huntershill Village questions

Yes. We work across all of Scotland, and Huntershill Village is part of that. Just send an email to info@mrmastic.co.uk with a few details of the job.

Do you work for landlords with property near Springburn station?

Yes, landlords and agents are among the people we work for, and several properties can go on one quote. Just email us at info@mrmastic.co.uk with the address and what needs doing, and we’ll send you a clear quote.

Where is Mr Mastic based?

Our base is Crawley. We work across South East England, London and Scotland.

Are you an approved applicator?

Yes. We’re ARBOMaster approved, the scheme for applicators of Arbo sealants.

Can you do several jobs on one visit?

Of course. Combining jobs makes good use of the visit, so mention them when you ask for a quote.

Can you start early or work out of hours?

In many cases. Let us know when the building is quietest, and we’ll see what can be arranged.

Does commercial work come with a guarantee?

Yes. Our 12-month guarantee covers commercial work too.

What information do you need?

Only a few details: where it is, what you’ve noticed and how we reach it. After that, simply send an email to info@mrmastic.co.uk.

What we do, step by step

Every visit runs the same way: we check the joints, mask and protect the surrounding surfaces, do the work and tidy away. It normally takes a morning for a small washroom, and a planned programme for bigger sites. Somewhere like Huntershill Village may be a longer drive, and the journey is planned ahead. Mention tracks, gates, ferries or anything else about the route.

  1. We agree a programme with you: which rooms, in what order, at what times.
  2. We go through your site’s paperwork needs, such as RAMS, before work begins.
  3. Old sealant is cut out room by room and joints cleaned and treated.
  4. Anti-fungal sanitary silicone goes into wet areas, with suitable sealant elsewhere.
  5. Rooms are handed back in order, each with its cure time.

Preparing for the visit

  • Mention any sign-in or site rules at work premises
  • Try not to wet indoor joints just before the visit
  • Clear the area around the work

How to get a quote

The more we know about the job, the more useful the quote. Tell us where the job is, what’s wrong and how much there is, and email pictures if that is easy.
