Rushams Road is one of those classic Horsham streets — Victorian semis, good-sized houses, been there over a hundred years. Customer called about black mould around the bath and the sealant had started lifting away from the tiles. When I got there it was clear the last person had just gone straight over the old stuff. Never lasts when you do that.
What I did: Got both layers out completely — took the time to do it properly with the right tools, no scoring the bath or tiles. Cleaned everything back, let it dry, then applied Everbuild C3 anti-fungal white silicone all the way round. Tooled off clean. Looks like a new bathroom.

New Build Shower Reseal — Burdock Road, Horsham
Burdock Road is part of the Furzefield development — Horsham's big new-build site on the north side of town. Good houses, but the sealant work on handover is often rushed. This customer had been in about 14 months and the shower tray seal had already pulled away. It's almost always the same story — applied too thin, wrong product, or gone straight over a dust-covered surface. I see this constantly on Horsham new builds.
What I did: Stripped the lot back to bare tray and tiles. Primed properly. Applied Geocel 2300 sanitary silicone around the full tray perimeter and all the enclosure joins. That's the product I trust for shower trays — it stays flexible and doesn't crack.

Kitchen Reseal — Denne Road, Horsham
Denne Road is right in the heart of Horsham — Victorian and Edwardian houses, period features, the lot. Customer noticed the worktop sealant had shrunk back from the wall and there was water getting behind. Kitchen was probably 15 years old and the original sealant had just done its time. Classic — shrinks, gaps, water gets in, cabinets start to go. Better to catch it early.
What I did: Stripped all the old sealant from the worktop-to-wall join, the upstand and around the sink. Used Soudal SF silicone colour-matched to the kitchen — they had a light grey worktop so we matched it. Food-safe product right around the sink. All tooled neat. Done in a morning.

East Street in Horsham is basically the restaurant and café strip — they call it Eat Street. One of the restaurants needed the kitchen and staff welfare areas resealed before an environmental health inspection. Needed doing over a Sunday so there was no impact on trading during the week. Furzefield and Highwood — new build snagging
Horsham has grown a lot. Burdock Road, Mowbray Village, Highwood Village — big new developments on the edge of town. The houses are good but the sealant is often rushed on handover. I get a steady stream of calls from people who moved in a year or two ago and the shower or bath seal is already going. I sort it properly.
Roffey and Broadbridge Heath — post-war housing
Roffey and Broadbridge Heath have a lot of 1950s-70s properties — solid builds but the bathrooms and kitchens are often original or only updated once. Older bathroom suites, shower conversions that weren't sealed well. Bread and butter work for me — quick to assess, straightforward to fix.
Rural Horsham — Barns Green, Slinfold, Southwater
